ObamaCare, STUPIDITY, and We the People ... We're Not the Stupid Ones

ObamaCare was passed with the legislation's architects, sponsors, promoters and supporters all convinced that We the People were simply too "stupid" to understand what they were doing to us.

Key ObamaCare architect regrets calling voters stupid has the story:

"A key architect of President Barack Obama’s landmark health-care law said he regretted calling voters “stupid” but said the bill was structured as it was to win Congressional approval.

Jonathan Gruber, a Massachusetts Institute of Technology professor, has been the topic of debate since ... saying (in the linked video) last year that the bill passed Congress because of a lack of transparency and the stupidity of the American voter. He said the bill was written in a “tortured way” to ensure the Congressional Budget Office didn’t refer to the mandate as a tax....

Gruber on Tuesday said he regretted the remarks. But he didn’t back away from the substance of them."

Summing Up

I can't add much to what Mr. Gruber had to say except for two things.

(1) We the People aren't stupid --- Mr. Gruber and rest of the ObamaCare architects are the stupid ones.

(2) With each passing day, the arrogance and stupidity of the law's architects, promoters, supporters and sponsors will continue to be in plain view and very much on display. We the People merely have to take the time to look.

That's my take.

Thanks. Bob.
