Chicago Teachers Say No School Until At Least Wednesday

For reasons best known to themselves, Chicago's teachers say they're not returning to work until at least Wednesday.

Here's my take, which I believe pretty well summarizes the entire sickening situation.

The Chicago schools are run by the teachers union and not by the school district. And not by the city of Chicago either. And as for Illinois Democratic Governor Pat Quinn, he's MIA. Democratic Mayor of Chicago Rahm Emanuel too, it seems. And last but not least, President Obama as well.

Accordingly, Chicago city government officials and others will await their marching orders from the Chicago teachers union's leadership, whenever they get around to it.

So will Chicago's parents and students.

What a crock!

Thanks. Bob.
