By way of helping answer the question, here are some quotes for you to consider:
From a speech by President Obama delivered at American University in August before the nuclear agreement with Iran was reached...
"Just because Iranian hard-liners chant 'death to America' does not mean that that's what all Iranians believe. In fact, it's those hard-liners who are most comfortable with the status quo. It's those hard-liners chanting "death to America" who have been most opposed to the deal. They're making common cause with the Republican caucus,"
From the October 24 Democratic debate...
ANDERSON COOPER: Which enemy that you made during your political career are you most proud of?
CLINTON: Well, in addition to the NRA, the health insurance companies, the drug companies, the Iranians; probably the Republicans.
From an Obama speech in the Philippines after the Paris ISIS attacks...
“Apparently they (Republicans) are scared of widows and orphans coming into the United States of America. At first, they were too scared of the press being too tough on them in the debates. Now they are scared of three year old orphans. That doesn’t seem so tough to me.”
From a Hillary Clinton speech on Nov 19 in New York...
“Let’s be clear: Islam is not our adversary. Muslims are peaceful and tolerant people and have nothing whatsoever to do with terrorism. (Republicans) blaming radical Islamic terrorism for vicious attacks of the sort that killed 129 people last Friday in Paris isn’t just a distraction. Affiliating them with a religion gives these criminals, these murderers, more standing than they deserve."
...........
A proper reflection on the quotes above could easily lead one to conclude that Republicans are viewed as a bigger threat than ISIS or radical islam by both Obama and Clinton..
But we have all seen the videos of the Paris aftermath, including the shootouts with Syrian refugees who executed the attacks. There were no images of widows or three year old orphans throwing bombs and shooting guns into innocent crowds. And we know that people who are practicing muslims with allegiance to ISIS have openly accepted responsibility for the carnage and promised more.
The Orwellian tactics being utilized by both Obama and Clinton to convince us otherwise are a sad sight to behold.
Richard Pryor had a line in one of his standup routines where he asked, "Are you going to believe me or your lying eyes?"
It was funny coming from him. It's not funny coming from the President of the United States or from one of the leading candidates for the same office.
